Terms of Service - Yieldworth

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Yieldworth, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Platform Description

Yieldworth is a technology platform that connects consumers with independently licensed funeral service providers. Yieldworth does not provide funeral services directly. All funeral services are provided by licensed funeral homes.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Yieldworth. By using our platform, you represent that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into this agreement.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate, current information
Maintain confidentiality of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
Use the platform for lawful purposes only
Not misrepresent your identity or affiliation

5. Payment Terms

Payments made through Yieldworth are processed by our payment processor and transmitted to the selected funeral home. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the specified amount. You are responsible for all charges incurred.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Refund policies are determined by individual funeral homes and are outlined in their General Price List (GPL). Yieldworth does not set or override funeral home refund policies. Disputes regarding refunds should be addressed directly with the funeral home.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YIELDWORTH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Actions of funeral homes or their staff
Service quality or conduct of partner providers
Loss of data or unauthorized access
Third-party links or external websites

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yieldworth from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these terms.

9. Independent Contractors

Funeral homes on our platform are independent contractors. They are not employees or agents of Yieldworth. Yieldworth does not control their operations, conduct, or service delivery.

10. Modifications to Terms

Yieldworth may modify these terms at any time. Changes become effective when posted. Your continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by applicable U.S. federal law and the laws of the state where the selected funeral home is licensed.
